RIDDLE 26: POOR EDWARD
Edward is a very busy man who works in a chain of stores. As usual,
yesterday he came back home at eight o’ clock p.m. He
was so tired that he decided to go to bed immediately, after setting the alarm
clock for eight a.m. But, as he was
half asleep, he set it for nine p.m.
An hour later, when the alarm clock rang, he woke up and got up to have a glass
of water and something to eat, since that evening he hadn’t had dinner. When he
opened his bedroom door, he saw that everything was completely upside down.
Some burglars had broken into his house. Then he ran to see if his savings were

Miss Marple

When they
have found the answer, Sherlock Holmes joins them. He has the next riddle.

have taken the steps, they have arrived at Big Ben. They notice the next riddle

screamed from the roof of Buckingham Palace. It is Prince William with his
fiancé, who tells them that they have passed a challenging test. Now they are
the best detectives and are rewarded with diamonds.
